Responsibilities:
- Guarantee the smooth flow of the supply chain, from the arrival of products at the depots to final delivery to clients or distributors/resellers.
- Ensure optimal stock management, oversee warehousing operations and coordinate road transport activities.
- Anticipate requirements based on sales forecasts.
- Plan inbound deliveries to avoid any stock shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with commercial teams and the production/import departments.
- Quality control: ensure proper storage conditions.
- Ensure deadlines are met and client satisfaction is maintained.
- Monitor KPIs: logistics cost per tonne, breakage/loss rate, average delivery lead time, service rate.
- Manage warehouse staff, administrative agents, handling operatives, drivers and all teams under direct responsibility.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) in Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy goods/bulk logistics or construction materials strongly preferred, or in a similar role.
- Technical knowledge of stock management and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics KPIs, IT tools and ERP systems (ideally NAVISION).
- Knowledge of HSE regulations.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Rigorous, reliable and results-oriented.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Good command of French; English would be an advantage.
